Exchange with practice

On invitation of GIZ Kenya, the Civil Peace Service, Nadine Segadlo shared insights from the project “Women, Forced Migration – and Peace? Peacebuilding Practices of Women in Refugee Camps” in an online event with practitioners on 13th November 2025. She focused on peace understandings and practices shared by displaced people in Kakuma, Kenya as well as humanitarian peace programming carried out on-site. The exchange was aimed at discussing the implications of the project’s findings for practical work in humanitarian refugee protection and peacebuilding. It aimed at building bridges between research and practice and creating space for mutual learning and collaboration.
